USS Arizona BB39 Actual Anchor is at the Bowlin Plaza just east of the capitol rotunda in Phoenix. In addition to the anchor there is an extensive memorial to the servicemen & women of Arizona and the public service people that were lost in the line of duty. A beautiful park surrounds the plaza and the memorials provide reminders of the sacrifices Arizonians gave, and are giving today. |

"Jammin' during a Hogs in Heat at Rock Springs Cafe Home of the World Famous Pies along I 17 at Black Canyon exit. The garden is where 'Hogs in Heat' is held the first Saturday of the month. Many other activities are held there throughout the year. |
